We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our Alternative Respite Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing meaningful breaks for families and supporting the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
Job Description:
Our Alternative Respite Programme provides essential support to individuals who use our services, enabling them to create a present and future that fulfils their personal potential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people with intellectual disabilities and has excellent communication skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing, implementing and evaluating Individual Support Plans to ensure each person's needs are met.
* Working collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide a high-quality service.
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum qualification in Intellectual Disability Practice, Social Care or Community Support Work (QQI Level 5) or a Social Care Degree (Level 7).
* Current CORU/NMBI registration or eligibility to register.
* A full, clean manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

We offer a competitive salary package, including:
* €16.62 - €23.17 per hour (Social Care Assistant) or €19.70 - €27.66 per hour (Social Care Worker), depending on experience.
