Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Salary: €32,526 – €42,730 per annum

Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a committed team, and will be responsible for running programmes for adults with intellectual disability/autism, promoting the New Directions model of day support services, following plans and methods to meet ongoing needs, and providing effective interpersonal and communication support.
Qualifications
Hold a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework (or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care).
Have at least 1 year experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
Experience of running programmes for adults with an intellectual disability/autism.
Understanding of the New Directions model of day support services as developed by the HSE, and willingness to promote this model within your role.
Ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
