Overview
On behalf of my client, a global medical devices company, we are seeking a driven and forward-thinking professional to join their dynamic Aesculap Team. Role: manage, develop and grow the orthopaedic implant & Power Tools Portfolio within Ireland, specifically the Leinster area.
Responsibilities
* Generating sales to achieve profitability/margins in line with delineated targets.
* Identify and maximise new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
* Identify efficiencies for partners & areas of growth within the Orthopaedic Surgery market while distinguishing the AESCULAP brand from the competition.
* Proven capability to lead theatre/hospital capital projects, delivering value as a trusted systems partner.
* Enhance the existing model for orthopaedic Procedures & Power Tools across all disciplines.
* Identify new and foster existing partnerships within the public and private hospital settings in Ireland.
* Managing Key Projects
* Maintaining market and competitor analysis and providing regular feedback.
Experience / Skills & Competencies to succeed
* Commercial experience in this field preferable, minimum 2-3 years.
* Proven experience building customer relationships.
* Experience of the local healthcare sector.
* Full Clean Driving Licence.
* Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Strong sense of urgency to respond to customer needs.
* Excellent communication with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levels.
* Ability to coordinate and train other staff and customers.
* Resilient – able to deal with a challenging and fast-paced environment.
