Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

Are you a registered general nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team in Clare.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of experienced healthcare professionals. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement nursing strategies, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.

Key responsibilities include:
\

1. Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
\
2. Leading a team of nurses and supporting their professional development
\
3. Coordinating patient care and developing care plans
\
4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care
\
5. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided
\
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines
\
7. Contributing to the development of the nursing budget and resource allocation plan
\
8. Supporting the Assistant Director of Nursing in achieving departmental objectives
\
9. Representing the nursing department at meetings and conferences as required
\
10. Maintaining accurate records and reports
\
11. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and audits
\
12. Dealing with patient complaints and concerns
\
13. Providing training and support to staff members on various topics related to nursing practices
\
14. Assisting in maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff members by adhering to hospital rules and regulations
\
15. Engaging in effective communication with patients, family members, physicians, and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes
\
16. Performing any additional duties assigned by the management team or ADON
\
Requirements:

Qualifications:
\
\
17. Registered General Nurse (RGN)
\
18. Full registration with the NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
\
19. Proven experience in a clinical setting as a RGN
\
20. Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
\
21. Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills
\
22. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
\
23. Strong leadership and communication skills
\
24. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
\
25. Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
\
26. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
\
27. Valid full driver's license
