Job Description
We are searching for an experienced multi-disciplinary Rail Engineering Manager to join the team, based in Dublin.
As the Rail Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading & delivering rail related Irish (or UK) infrastructure or rail projects, working with our Clients, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and Translink.
You will work within the transportation team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects.
Operating around our core values, you will:
1. Collaborate - Leading multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver integrated designs and building effective relationships with our technical teams and Clients.
2. Deliver - The projects we deliver range from stations to train maintenance and servicing depots and power supply upgrades. We also provide support for other parts of AECOM's business on major multidisciplinary projects.
3. Safeguard - You will be responsible for appointment of competent discipline lead engineers for technical delivery. Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
4. Anticipate - Working through the complexities of our Transportation projects, you will hold our clients' hands to overcome the complexities in unison when they inevitably arise.

Qualifications
We recognise a variety of experience, and backgrounds may suit this role and that experience levels in specific technical areas may vary. If you feel you only meet some of the requirements below or have transferrable skills, we would still love to hear from you!
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer CEng / Ieng or working towards this status.
* Recognised engineering qualification or preferably a degree in Engineering.
* Knowledge of system interfaces and experience in technical engineering leadership which impact on discipline design principles and demonstrable experience of the successful management of interfaces within projects.
* Must have multi-disciplinary experience in Rail.
