Internationally we export some 240 different products to over 100 countries worldwide.The Group's Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑focusedEnvironmental Lab Technicianto support environmental compliance and laboratory operations on site. This role is central to maintaining our high standards in water testing, environmental monitoring, and ISO-certified management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the Waste Water Testing Laboratory in line with EPA and ISO 17025 standards.Conduct daily testing of surface water and wastewater treatment plant samples.Liaise with WWTP operators on sample results and trends.Investigate out‑of‑spec results and complete daily/monthly instrument calibrations.Organise external annual calibrations as required.Maintain laboratory stock levels, equipment, and reagents.Perform daily environmental checks across the site.Carry out routine inspections at the WWTP.Complete weekly bund checks.Conduct monthly odour assessments and monthly yard audits.Maintain accurate environmental records, registers, and procedures.Prepare and deliver toolbox talks and induction materials.Investigate environmental non‑conformances and complaints.Support the preparation for internal and external environmental audits and site visits.Conduct weekly and monthly inspections in line with IEL requirements.Ensure all documentation and compliance records are audit‑ready.What we are looking forHas experience in laboratory testing or environmental monitoring (preferred).Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.Is proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently.Has excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.Lakeland Dairies Ltd is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
