TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a
Social Care Worker/Leader
on behalf of a leading disability service based in Blackrock, Dublin.
This service provides quality services to adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities who require medium to high levels of support.
Roster:
Full time permanent contract – no nights but there is a requirement for twilight hours and weekends on rotation.
The Role
This is a supernumery role.
The candidate will be expected to work some of the time on the floor and will have managerial duties such as rostering and supervision.
This is an ideal for a Social Care Worker who wants to progress to Social Care Leader.

Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a similar focused role.
A QQI Level 5 Healthcare Major Award or an equivalent care related qualification.
A Management Qualification.
Previous experience in leading and managing a team.
Previous experience in operational resource planning and management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer & IT literate (has strong computer skills, Microsoft word/excel/PowerPoint etc.).
Ability to overcome personal and professional challenges and to reflect and learn from mistakes and feedback as a tool for personal development.
Ability to maintain composure in difficult or challenging situations.
Ability to keep abreast of current developments in inclusion and individualisation issues in Ireland and internationally.
Ability to keep aware of good practices in the provision of person-centred services and be sensitive to the issues experienced by people with physical disabilities and neurological conditions.
In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.
Hold full a (clean) driver licence and is willing to travel for work on a regular basis and outside of normal working hours when required.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.
