Purpose of the Post Reporting to the Clinical Director of HSCP and Research, the Principal Psychologist will, on a Temporary Wholetime contract (12 months), work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
Experience and Qualifications (i) A recognised University degree or diploma obtained with first- or second-class honours in which psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, And (ii) A recognised postgraduate professional psychological qualification appropriate to the area of professional psychology in which the position is designated And (a) Have at least eight years' satisfactory post graduate experience in the area of professional psychology in which the position is designated inclusive of any time spent pursuing a course leading to the post graduate qualification and including at least three years satisfactory experience in a senior capacity And (b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Salary In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Psychologist, Principal Clinical; €114,961- €133,271 incl.
LSI per annum.
