We are currently recruiting for an Accommodation Manager position at a leading 4-star hotel in County Westmeath. The role involves working with a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and public areas.
Responsibilities will include:
* To provide guests with exceptional levels of safety, comfort, care, and personal attention at all times.
* Collaborating with colleagues to anticipate guests' needs and exceeding expectations wherever possible.
* Being familiar with daily business operations, including room occupancy, special requirements, and VIP needs, and ensuring that all accommodation staff are aware of these details.
* Maintaining adequate staffing levels to meet daily business demands.
* Actively training staff to meet defined standards and monitoring their performance, taking corrective action when necessary.
* Providing support to the team as needed to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the required standard.
We are seeking a candidate with 3+ years of management experience in a similar large 4/5-star property. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, IT, organisational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and support colleagues.
The successful candidate must be flexible, adaptable, approachable, and able to lead by example. They should also have current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
