Job Overview
Lead the Operations Department with efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm.

The position reports directly to the Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Development:
Recruit, interview and hire Functional Managers.
Coach Functional Managers in the interviewing/hiring process.
Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved.
Employee and Team Performance:
ID individual and team strengths and development needs.
Create training curriculum in area of responsibility.
Couch and mentor Functional Managers to deliver excellence.
Goal Setting and Feedback:
Establish clear measurable goals and objectives.
Solicit ongoing feedback from Workcell members and Functional Manager.
Provide coaching and counseling to Functional Manager.
Functional Management Expectations
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Create campus strategic directions.
Define, develop and implement a strategy.
Cost Optimization:
Identify creative ways to reduce costs.
Utilize tools to monitor departmental expenses.
Forecasting and Analysis:
Prepare timely forecasts for the campus.
Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results.
Technical Skills Requirements
Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis.
Assess the adequacy of data gathering methods.
Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient.
Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training AND 10 years work experience OR equivalent external work experience including 5 years management experience.
