James Levine, VP Strategic Account ManagementAbout the role:As an Account Manager, you will drive growth by expanding customer adoption of Absorb and by uncovering upsell and cross sell opportunities within your existing accounts. A core part of your role is protecting and increasing the value of your book of business through strong retention practices and a deep understanding of each client�s goals.The ideal candidate builds trust quickly, excels at relationship management, and brings a strong sales mindset with proactive problem-solving skills. Success is measured through net retention targets tied directly to the performance of your assigned accounts.Absorb Culture - Absorb LMSWhat you�ll do:Increase the net dollar retention of your book of business through proactive upsells, cross sells, and strong relationship management that protects and grows existing revenue.Lead client contract renewals with a focus on expanding Annual Recurring Revenue and strengthening long term partnerships.Identify, develop, and close new opportunities within assigned accounts to support a land and expand strategy.Create accurate proposals, statements of work, and other client facing documents that support your sales process and drive deal momentum.Build meaningful, trusted relationships with key contacts to deepen engagement and position Absorb as a strategic partner.Manage your sales pipeline with accuracy and accountability, reporting monthly and quarterly to ensure full visibility across the business.Become an expert in Absorb�s subscription models so you can confidently address client questions and guide renewal and expansion conversations.Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects that help improve sales processes and overall performance.Develop strong internal partnerships across Customer Success, Support, Product, and Leadership to ensure the full client lifecycle is supported.Stay current on product releases, training sessions, and industry insights to maintain strong product knowledge and credibility with customers.What you�ll bring:Post-secondary degree (preferably in business or a related field)Proven ability to manage client relationships (including upselling) with a minimum 1-2 years of relevant experienceVery strong time management and organizational skillsVery strong verbal and written communication skillsOutgoing and personable nature with a sales driven attitude, strong team playerAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that changes constantlyAdditional preferred qualifications:SaaS (or Technology) sales experienceExperience working with a global client baseStrong MS Office skills � primarily Excel and PowerPointFluency in additional languagesExperience working with industry tools such as SalesforceTechnologies we use:AbsorbLMS, Salesforce, Gong, Gainsight, Zendesk, Calendly, Zoom, Teams, Adobe AcrobatAre you ready to become an Absorber?What we offer:Fully remote-first work with flexible work arrangementsComprehensive Health and Wellness Benefits including retirement savings programs, eligibility for two different bonus plans, generous time off, comprehensive medical and dental benefits based on your country of locationNew Hire Equipment Allowance and monthly Flex Allowance to support your successEndless opportunity for career growth and internal mobilityEmployee driven DE&I programsWho are we?Absorb Software is a remote-first company that provides online training solutions to leading organizations around the world.
