An experienced articulated truck driver is required to carry out double deck deliveries across the country, with a focus on efficient logistics management.
* Deliver goods using a double deck truck with a combination of day, evening, and night shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods with minimal breaks during transit.
* Manage multiple drops on each load, adhering to established protocols.
* Return the trailer to the designated yard after each run, maintaining a high level of organization.
* Conduct a thorough debriefing session at the end of each shift to review performance and discuss areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Valid CE driving license with a clean driving record.
* Possession of a digital tachograph card for accurate logging of working hours.
* Completion of CPC training and regular updates to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Experience with pallet trucks and tailifts for efficient loading and unloading operations.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
* Delivery of goods will involve 80% double deck and 20% rigid deliveries.
