Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Limerick. Our company has a well-established presence in the industry and a busy pipeline of major civil and infrastructure works, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS.

Job Responsibilities:
* Overseeing all quantity surveying aspects of civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account.
* Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.
* Leading the procurement process including subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and management.
* Managing project variations, change orders, and ensuring timely agreement of accounts.
* Producing accurate monthly cost reports and forecasts.
* Providing commercial guidance and leadership to junior staff.
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure financial targets and project timelines are achieved.
* Ensuring compliance with contract terms, conditions, and statutory requirements.
* Supporting risk management processes and contract administration.

Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 8 years experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Proven experience managing the full commercial cycle of medium to large-scale projects.
* Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract and procurement routes.
* Strong analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in relevant software including Microsoft Office and cost management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Self-motivated and capable of managing workload independently while supporting wider project goals.
