We have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Finance team in Lucan as a Commercial FP&A Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and drive the corporate-owned stores churn framework.
* Be a key member of the Musgrave Retail Services Acquisitions and Integrations team, responsible for onboarding new stores and delivering projects on time.
* Contribute to the development of operational and governance frameworks tailored to each store entity structure.
* Compile and finalize apportionment accounts in line with MRS hard close reporting requirements, in conjunction with the Financial Control team.
* Partner with the Head of Cedarglade on operational and financial matters to ensure successful store onboarding.
* Understand the balance sheet impacts of acquisitions.
* Provide clarity and insight to the business on acquisitions and divestments.
Support on Commercial Initiatives:
* Develop and deliver accurate MRS projections of store performance with key assumptions clearly outlined for approval requests.
* Attend review meetings with stakeholders including the MRS Strategy & Growth Manager, Senior Leadership Team, and present business cases for strategic decisions.
* Understand internal and external factors driving the retail business.
* Collaborate with the wider MRS Local Finance team to align on KPIs and business objectives.
* Engage in other strategic projects as required.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years PQE.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Highly numerical and analytical.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence.
* Proven ability to drive change and innovate.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multi-task.
* Flexible and dependable.
