Our client, a leading reinsurer with a growing and diverse portfolio, is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Executive Manager – Actuarial Reporting. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the consolidation and delivery of actuarial financial reporting, including liabilities and earnings, ensuring high-quality output and senior sign-off.
* Act as the primary business partner for financial reporting, providing clear insights on performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
* Oversee the integration of new reinsurance transactions into the reporting environment through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Manage, mentor and develop a team of actuaries, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
* Strengthen governance by owning key relationships with Audit, Risk, Finance and Group Actuarial, and driving continuous process improvement.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Qualified Actuary with 7+ years' post-qualification experience.
* Deep understanding of actuarial financial reporting within life or reinsurance.
* Proven people leadership and experience in a senior actuarial role.
* Strong professional judgement and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at senior levels.
* Proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach.
