Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Navan. The Sales Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities for heating, cooling, and ventilation solutions, while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing quotations, presenting product solutions, conducting site visits where required, and following up on leads to close sales. The role involves collaborating closely with technical and design teams to provide accurate specifications, advising customers on energy‑efficient and nZEB‑compliant options, and ensuring all proposals meet client and regulatory requirements. The Sales Specialist will also support product training and demonstrations, contribute to sales reporting and forecasts, and represent Versatile at industry events and meetings as needed. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams. Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly. Demonstrated Sales experience, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals. Sales Management or account management skills, such as territory planning, forecasting, and maintaining long‑term client relationships. Experience delivering Training or product demonstrations to clients, distributors, or internal colleagues. Background in HVAC, mechanical engineering, construction products, or building services is highly beneficial. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Comfort using CRM systems and standard office software to track activities, prepare quotes, and report on performance. Ability to work collaboratively with technical, operations, and design teams, as well as independently on‑site with customers. Valid authorization to work in Ireland; full driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
