Student Services Administrator (Temporary)
Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support a peak workload period within Student Services.
This role is focused on enhancing student engagement through welcome and settling-in programmes, with a strong emphasis on First Year Orientation activities.
This is a fast-paced, administrative role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
3 months temporary contract
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support within Student Services
Assist with the coordination and delivery of First Year Orientation events
Support the planning and execution of student engagement initiatives
Create and manage online resources for incoming students
Maintain accurate records, data management, and reporting
Design and coordinate marketing materials for student services and events
Liaise with internal stakeholders, designers, and external vendors (e.g. printers)
Assist with social media content and digital engagement activities
Requirements
Proven experience in a busy administrative role
Experience supporting or coordinating events
Background in a student-facing or customer-focused environment
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good numeracy skills with the ability to analyse data
Strong problem-solving ability and flexibility
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience creating and managing social media content
Competency in graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
Knowledge of digital marketing principles is an advantage
