Warehouse Operators

The Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials in and out of the warehouse. You will oversee the acceptance, recording, put-away, and storage of products, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping. You'll also be encouraged to actively participate in continuous improvement activities and support the development of colleagues through training and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to all company procedures, policies, and processes.
* Safely and correctly operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and attachments.
* Carry out equipment checks, document results, and report defects immediately.
* Prepare, load, and unload goods while ensuring products are safe for storage and transport.
* Complete Goods In and Goods Out processes, ensuring accuracy and quality checks.
* Maintain correct use of PPE and ensure all documentation is completed clearly and accurately.
* Perform routine operational checks (daily/weekly/monthly) and follow inventory control protocols.
* Store materials securely and maintain an organised racking system.
* Assist in training and induction of warehouse staff, promoting a strong safety culture.
* Collaborate with other departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are met, keeping the warehouse audit-ready at all times.
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative.
* Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* MHE licenses or experience (e.g., Forklift Truck, Narrow Aisle Machine, Pallet Truck) desirable.
* Strong process-driven mindset with attention to detail.
