Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join their commercial team across projects in
Dublin and Kildare
.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all commercial aspects of projects from tender stage to final account
* Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and contract administration
* Manage variations, valuations, and interim payments
* Ensure effective cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors
* Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors
* Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial and programme alignment
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* 7+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with a main contractor
* Strong experience delivering large-scale projects (residential, commercial, or data centres)
* In-depth knowledge of Irish construction contracts and procurement methods
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
