Senior Accountant - Pharma - Dublin, Ireland

Primary functions of this Senior Accountant role:
1. Own end-to-end record to report month-end and quarter-end procedures for specified EMEA entities, including revenue accounting and operating expense journal entry reviews.
2. Liaise with outsourced providers to ensure accurate and complete performance of month-end and quarter-end tasks.
3. Partner closely with Finance colleagues both locally and globally, keeping abreast of local market developments and determining the appropriate accounting treatments for changes in facts and circumstances, while adhering to global deadlines.
4. Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP accounting principles.
5. Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and follow up on and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
6. Support statutory audits for your entities, working closely with the Associate Director Statutory Reporting Coordinator to close out the statutory audit processes and review local GAAP financial statements.
7. Support year-end integrated audit efforts.
Requirements for this role:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA)
* Bachelor’s degree
* 2 years experience
* Pharma experience is a plus
* SAP, Blackline, & Qlik experience is a plus
