We are seeking an E&I Project Engineer to support capital projects on-site. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, with previous E&I design and construction support experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries being advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Design E&I systems as part of a multidisciplinary project team
* Generate detailed scope of work packages for E&I contractors for tender and procurement
* Coordinate and supervise E&I contractors during construction and commissioning
* Manage contractor activities to ensure schedule and budget adherence
* Specify and procure instrumentation components
* Prepare E&I deliverables including data sheets, schedules, diagrams, and layouts
* Manage E&I project costs, schedules, and reporting
* Participate in constructability and safety reviews
* Review project scope, budget, and schedule
* Manage multiple projects of varying complexity
* Ensure health and safety compliance on-site
* Monitor work schedules, regulations, and costs
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry
* Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU regulatory standards
* Experience with PLC programming, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
