Centre Manager forCarlow & South Leinster Rape Crisis Centre of72 Tullow St, CarlowThe successful candidate will be available to work 28 hours/week (Monday–Thursday, 9am–3pm)Permanent role with a 6-month probationary period.Salary: €38k to ,€38k/Year(28 hrs/week).Pension scheme (7% employer contribution post-probation).Paid sick leave and maternity pay scheme (subject to service requirements).Annual leave plus public holidays.Reporting to: Board of DirectorsThe Carlow & South Leinster Rape Crisis Centre (C&SLRCC) is seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to guide our organisation in delivering high-quality, survivor-focused services for individuals impacted by sexual violence and abuse.We are a member of Rape Crisis Ireland ("RCI") and provide free, confidential, non-judgemental counselling, information, and support, as well as education and awareness programmes.The RoleAs Centre Manager, you will:Lead and inspire a dedicated team of clinical and administrative staff.Oversee the delivery of our vision, mission, and strategic plan.Manage budgets, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and oversee governance processes.Build strong partnerships with funders, agencies, and the wider community.Represent C&SLRCC locally, regionally, and nationally, including media engagement.Identify funding opportunities to support our vital work.This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, ensuring survivors have access to the support, advocacy, and resources they need.RequirementsA minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior co-ordination or management role.Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.Experience in financial management and oversight, project planning and fundraising.Knowledge and understanding of sexual violence, services and governance in the charity sector.Key Skills & CompetenciesInspirational leadership and clear decision-making.Strong communication, advocacy, and networking skills.Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.Calm, professional approach under pressure.Successful candidates will be required to undergo Garda vetting in accordance with Irish law.
