Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Cyber Security Manager. The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity operations, implementing best practices for application, network, and information security, and performing vulnerability assessments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security risks, ensuring data security, analyzing potential threats, and developing strategies to mitigate cyber risks. Additionally, the role requires staying updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Application Security and Cybersecurity practices
* Proficiency in Network Security and Information Security management
* Experience conducting thorough Vulnerability Assessments
* Ability to design and implement strategic cybersecurity frameworks
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
* Knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and related mitigation tactics
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
