Global Mobility Coordinator Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating global mobility initiatives and ensuring seamless employee experiences. We are seeking a highly organized and communicative professional to design and implement effective global mobility processes and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage scalable global mobility strategies and plans.
2. Cultivate relationships with external partners, such as relocation agencies, immigration providers, and tax consultants.
3. Create and maintain documentation and tools for managing assignments, travel, and cross-border work consistently.
4. Coordinate international assignments, short-term travel, permanent transfers, and remote work abroad.
5. Act as liaison between sending and receiving country HR teams to ensure smooth transitions and aligned responsibilities.
6. Support managers and employees throughout the mobility lifecycle (pre-departure, during assignment, and repatriation or integration).
7. Process A1 certificates, visas, work permits, and other legal documentation efficiently.
8. Evaluate and ensure compliance with immigration laws, social security regulations, and tax requirements in all involved countries.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Payroll) to guarantee accurate and timely processing.
10. Offer guidance to employees on relocation-related topics, such as housing, health insurance, registration, and local requirements.
11. Serve as point of contact for mobile employees, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
12. Draft assignment letters, secondment agreements, and related employment documentation.
13. Negotiate and coordinate with service providers, including cost estimates and invoicing oversight.
14. Monitor regulatory changes that impact international employment and mobility.
15. Maintain up-to-date records of all mobile employees and assignments.
16. Report on mobility activity, risks, and cost trends to HR leadership.
