Job Title: Executive Culinary Director
We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role that involves cooking for large groups, including lunch and dinner service, as well as staff meals. The position also encompasses kitchen management, working closely with suppliers, as well as organizing kitchen staff and shifts.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in large-scale catering and kitchen management, who enjoys rural living. Minimum 5 years experience in Head Chef/Kitchen Management is required.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals (lunch and dinner) for large groups staying with us.
* Ensure adequate cover and efficiency of the kitchen by managing a small team of kitchen staff.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with HACCP and health & safety standards.
* Ensure food is prepared on time and to the expected standard.
* Manage stock and communicate supply needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven minimum 5 years experience as head chef in a busy kitchen environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of food hygiene standards and health & safety in the kitchen.
* Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts as required.
* Reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
