Join Devenish at our new, state-of-the-art production facility in Moynalty.We are currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and ongoing development of all plant, machinery, and operational assets at our Moynalty site. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the site operates effectively and efficiently, with minimal downtime and maximum reliability.This role involves not only day-to-day maintenance and improvement of existing equipment, but also project management responsibilities for new asset development and upgrades as required.The right candidate for this role will have:Experience of leading an effective planned maintenance programme for a 2 shift business operation. Initially we will work a single 8 hr shift x 5 days per week. This will be reviewed as business expands. Have an ability to optimise and develop these programmes to maximise machine uptime.A working knowledge of relevant CMMS and Machine OEE system.Knowledge of production and operations management with proven track record of delivery within a pressurised manufacturing environment.Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environmentA proven track record of successfully leading and delivering significant change within the business.Experience in Project Management of capital expenditure projects or significant business re-vamping or IT projects preferably with formal project management training.Strong knowledge of IT and experience of IT project implementation.Demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement activities to constantly improve the business through efficiencies, increased productivity.Good knowledge of financial management and cost control in an engineering / manufacturing role.Strong engineering skills to be able to support the maintenance team with complex issues with the plant.A willingness to utilise a 'hands on' approach during day-to-day business as required by the team.A proven track record of being able to train and develop their team and work with colleagues to enhance competencies within the business.Experience of good people management and leadership in a complex work environment.Analytical thinking skills; Comfortable working with data, tolerant of situations of complexity where not all data is available; conversant with statistical processes.Thorough knowledge of mills/factories, modern processes and equipment, automation to meet modern manufacturing processes.Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders.Ability to work in a demanding and challenging environment.Flexible and adaptable approach in terms of role and work hours.Ability to travel to other group sites in Ireland and the UK.A degree (or time served apprenticeship plus experience) in an engineering, food technology or manufacturing related discipline.What we offer:37.5 hour week (flexibility required to meet role demands)Competitive salary based on experience & qualificationsBonus20 days annual leave plus statutory daysLife AssuranceCompany Pension SchemePrivate MedicalTraining and development opportunities to support your careerMedicash Health Cash Plan and Employee Assistant ProgrammeRefer a friend schemeThis role is based in Moynalty, Co.
