Job Overview
The Head of Marketing CSDs & Energy is an exciting leadership position responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategy across Local CSDs, Energy brands, and select Pepsi Co brands.
This pivotal role leads a marketing team to drive the Irish Business Unit's success through consumer-centric approaches, managing A&P budget investments to deliver strong financial outcomes, brand equity growth, and market share gains.
Working closely with the Marketing Director and Irish Executive team, you'll spearhead strategic initiatives that ensure sustained profitable growth and enhanced business unit profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Brand Portfolio Strategy (rolling 3-years) and compelling Annual Brand Plans that drive profitable growth and align with business unit objectives
Create and manage a robust innovation pipeline on a 4-2-1 basis, developing business cases for approval and ensuring successful market implementation
Develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing Brand Marketing Team, establishing clear objectives, responsibilities, and development plans
Devise strategic brand roadmaps covering all marketing mix elements including positioning, NPD, pricing, communications, activation platforms, and SKU management
Collaborate with Consumer Insight, Category Development & Shopper Experience teams to leverage consumer, shopper, and market insights for portfolio optimization
Partner effectively with Pepsi Co Brand Marketing Team to ensure mutual success while maximizing value from third-party agencies puder Britvic Business Units
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of marketing experience in a structured branded FMCG environment with fundamental understanding of Brand Marketing functions
Proven track record of delivering share and profit goals at Brand Portfolio level
Experience in developing forward-looking portfolio strategies and managing the performance of multiple brands
Demonstrated capability working with demanding partners and stakeholders
Strong commercial creativity combined with excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Self-motivated professional with exceptional communication and influencing skills
