Sustainability Consultant
to join the team.
The successful candidate will be part of our leading Sustainability team based at one of our Republic of Ireland offices (Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, or Sligo).

About The Role:
The successful candidate will work on climate and sustainability projects for our public and private sector clients.
In a dynamic team environment, you will develop climate and sustainability solutions that contribute to climate action, resource efficiency, and biodiversity protection.
Responsibilities include:
Undertaking GHG emissions inventories (including scope 1, 2, and 3; whole-life cycle), data management, and validation;
Preparing project and organizational carbon/sustainability strategies, including Net Zero Carbon roadmaps and Science Based Target setting;
Advising on low carbon renewable energy technologies within the built environment sector;
Conducting Life Cycle Assessments of products and infrastructure;
Leading sustainability workshops on various projects;
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide sustainability guidance.
Qualifications:
Honours degree (Level 8) in engineering or science or equivalent professional qualification;
2-5 years of experience working closely with the built environment industry (preferred);
Membership of a relevant professional body (IEMA, ICRS advantageous), working towards chartered status.
Experience:
Experience with engineering teams on low carbon design options;
Knowledge of Irish and European climate, energy, and environmental policies;
Experience in carbon/energy assessments and data software (e.g., OneClick LCA);
Experience in analyzing sustainability data for reporting;
Understanding of sustainable supply chains and standards like BREEAM;
Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
