Job Title: Health and Safety Officer
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site Health and Safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company procedures. This includes developing, reviewing, and supporting Work Method Statements (WMS) and Risk Assessments to maintain high Health & Safety standards.
The role also involves promoting a positive culture through Toolbox Talks, employee engagement, and ongoing communication. Additionally, the candidate will conduct site inspections, safety audits, deliver EHS training sessions, and compile accurate records of all activities related to their tasks.
* A relevant third-level Qualification in Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer (preferably within the manufacturing industry).
* Demonstrable excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at various levels.
