Security Solutions Developer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Solutions Developer to join our team in Dublin.
You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and tune security measures that support ongoing modernisation efforts and internal technology initiatives.
The role focuses on hands-on technical work across cloud, endpoint, identity, network, and internal platforms, ideal for someone who wants to work directly with security technologies rather than support queues.
The key responsibilities include:
* Deploying and maintaining security tooling across cloud and on-prem environments
* Supporting automation and scripting for configuration, monitoring, and policy enforcement
* Contribute to identity and access control improvements, including baseline reviews
* Help implementing endpoint hardening, policy tuning, and configuration updates
* Working with network and cloud teams to apply secure configurations and updated control sets
* Participating in vulnerability reviews and remediation engineering
* Assisting with log ingestion, alert tuning, and signal improvement across platforms
* Documenting configurations, runbooks, and engineering workflows
* Supporting small-scale internal projects requiring basic threat modelling or secure configuration advice
A strong interest in hands-on security engineering, automation, and building secure systems is required. Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and understanding of systems engineering fundamentals-networking, identity, OS, or cloud basics are beneficial. Certifications (Security+, CC, cloud fundamentals) are also advantageous but not required.
