Role Overview
You will support project delivery from concept to completion under a Senior Engineer’s supervision, including feasibility studies, detailed design using AutoCAD, Revit, and thermal modelling software, site visits, and client interactions.
Qualifications
* Industry-related Level 8 Degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Energy Engineering.
* Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or CIBSE is advantageous.
Essential Requirements
* Experience in designing various sectors (Commercial, Healthcare, Education, etc.).
* Proven track record in mechanical building services project design and coordination.
* Knowledge of low-carbon design principles, nZEB, Part L compliance.
* Experience with BIM and Revit.
* Strong client relationship skills and team collaboration experience.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
* Core building services design including HVAC, controls, utilities, drainage.
* Feasibility studies, detailed design, specifications, cost estimation, and project monitoring.
* Client and team communication, BIM coordination, mentoring junior staff, business development.
