Responsible for strategic planning in the company and for ensuring that adequate provision of planning support is provided across all projects, and to the management team.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
1. Responsible for the initial tender planning of all projects during the tender and pre-construction phases. In particular ensuring the tender programme is realistic and achievable and coordinated with estimating functions.
2. Preparation of tender programmes and method statements to adequately demonstrate the sequence, methodology and timescales involved in the project.
3. Where working specifically on a project, responsible for initiating and maintaining on a regular basis the detailed construction programme together with a design and package procurement programme, in order to ensure that the work is carried out to meet the project requirements.
4. Collect data and update programmes to show progress or delays.
5. Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to Project Manager.
6. Ensure that current procedures relating to planning are adhered to or amended to suit a particular client / project.
7. Remain up to date with current planning methods and introduce into Exyte if found to be advantageous.
Show your expertise
1. Experience in the Construction Industry in a planning role.
2. Knowledge of at least Primavera, Powerproject, MS Project, Excel and Word.
3. 6 + years experience in a similar role.
