We pride ourselves on providing the best solid fuel at the best prices, while continuing to grow and create opportunities for our team.Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Operative to join our Carrigtwohill team. In this role, you will assist the driver with deliveries of coal, firewood, and gas to customers, ensuring orders are delivered safely and efficiently. From time to time, you may also be required to drive a small 3.5 tonne transit van to complete local deliveries. This is a physical, hands on role that requires excellent customer service and the ability to handle heavy loads.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist driver with loading and unloading deliveries of coal, firewood, and gasSafely deliver products to residential and commercial customersLift and handle bags of coal (up to 40kg), firewood, and gas cylindersEnsure deliveries are accurate, secure, and completed on scheduleProvide friendly, professional customer service during deliveriesCarry out manual handling duties in line with safety guidelinesDrive a 3.5T transit van for deliveries when required (occasional cover)Report any stock discrepancies, safety issues, or vehicle concerns to managementSkills, Qualifications & AttributesEssential:Full, clean driving licencePhysically fit and able to lift up to 40kgPrevious manual handling experienceStrong work ethic, punctuality, and reliabilityGood communication and customer service skillsDesirable:Forklift licence (an advantage but not required)Experience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics rolesWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay (€13.85 – €15.00)Tips and bonus opportunitiesSupportive, family run work environmentOn-site parkingCareer progression opportunities as the company expandsWork LocationIn person, Carrigtwohill, Co.
