JOB SPECIFICATION Our client seeks a Senior Regulatory Manager to manage and deliver its programme to assess compliance by AHBs with the Standards and will hold an open competition to fill this position. The post is based in our offices in Dublin 2. Our client operates a Blended Working Policy where staff may work up to 60% of their hours remotely. Reporting to the Head of Registration & Assessment, as Senior Regulatory Manager, you will manage a team who will provide regulatory findings in line with our client's Standards by obtaining assurance through information evaluation, risk assessment and evidence gathering. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and deliver the regulatory compliance assessment programme effectively Develop and enhance our clients compliance assessment programme in line with risk-based regulation Lead on regulatory meetings with AHBs, including seeking agreement to regulatory findings Liaise with other senior regulatory managers relating to all areas of our client's regulatory framework Report to the board and subcommittees on the delivery of the compliance assessment programme and outcomes Implement an effective programme of staff training, to advance team development, including capacity and capabilities Contribute to the development and delivery of education and guidance for AHBs based on learnings from the assessment programme Identify sector risks and trends Any other duties as appropriate ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Candidates must meet the following essential requirements prior to their appointment: A relevant third level qualification (Level 7 of NFQ) or a professional qualification relevant to the role Experience of a minimum of 3 years working in at least one of the following areas: regulation, company law, governance, audit, inspection, finance, investigation, enforcement, or compliance Proven experience in line management with the ability to develop and motivate a professional team. Candidates must have unconditional authorisation to live and work in Ireland. DESIRABLE CRITERIA Experience of report writing including making recommendations for improvement Experience of information evaluation and analysis Understanding of the principles of risk-based regulation and regulatory frameworks Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and convey complex financial concepts..
