Transport Operations Manager We are working with a leading FMCG organisation in Dublin to recruit an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead and optimise a high-volume distribution operation.
This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The Role: As Transport Operations Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing transport supervisors, planners, and drivers Overseeing daily transport operations across multi-drop FMCG deliveries Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation, health & safety, and company policies Driving KPI performance including OTIF, cost control, and vehicle utilisation Managing fleet performance (owned or 3PL) and supplier relationships Leading continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies Handling escalations, incident management, and customer service issues Requirements: Proven experience in a Transport Operations / Transport Manager role within FMCG or high-volume distribution Strong knowledge of Irish transport legislation and compliance Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced environment Excellent people management, planning, and organisational skills Strong commercial and analytical mindset CPC qualification highly desirable What's on Offer: Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with a market-leading FMCG brand High-impact role with scope to influence and improve operations Career progression within a growing and stable organisation If you are a results-driven Transport Operations Manager looking to take the next step with a leading FMCG client, we would love to hear from you.
