Job Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and hands-on individual to join an Irish company in the Smart Sustainability space.
This role is a hybrid position, with company headquarters in Dublin.
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple media channels.
You will establish a collaborative working relationship with the business owner, who will work with you on strategic and big-picture goals while taking charge of tactical implementation and execution.
The ability to organize, plan, and structure your workload in an autonomous fashion will be absolutely key to your success in this role.
We neither have the time nor the inclination to micromanage you.
You’ll have a lot of freedom in this role but also a lot of responsibility.
The Seven Non-Negotiables of This Role Are:
1. Learn the Product and Our Customers: Deeply understand the purpose, features, and benefits of our products. Our team will educate you, but you’ll also need to login to our demo, try it out, and talk to existing customers.
2. Copywriting: Crafting direct marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, web, and social media. Excellent written skills are essential, and samples of previous work are expected.
3. Being tech-savvy: Ability to quickly learn and use new marketing tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, content management systems, and email marketing tools.
4. Leadership potential: Initially, you’ll be our only in-house fractional marketing person, with growth prospects into managing a team of marketing assistants and agencies as we hit goals.
5. Project management: Experience in creating and adhering to deadlines, drafting budgets, and managing multiple projects to completion.
6. Being teachable and coachable: Willingness to learn and adapt, as marketing strategies may differ from traditional methods.
7. Being a self-starter: Ability to independently determine what needs to happen, when, and how, with a proactive attitude.
Perks of the Job: This is a hybrid position requiring twice-weekly office visits. The role offers management and marketing experience, starting at 20-25 hours per week with potential for full-time employment. Salary is €25,000 - €30,000 per annum for part-time work.
