An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Warehouse Manager to join our team.The OpportunityThe Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations within a fast-paced, GDP/GMP regulated warehouse environment. They will be responsible for leading a team of five managing recruitment, training, performance and continuous improvement. They will collaborate with other departments within the business to ensure timely and accurate distribution of critical medical products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesOversee Day-to-day Warehouse Operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch of pharmaceutical goods.Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes and improve operational efficiency.Management of cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory optimization activities.Ensuring that warehouse equipment is maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations and regulatory standards.Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment.Provide direction and guidance to Warehouse Team in managing their daily work priorities.Ensure your team are trained and competent in their areas of responsibility and adhere to all company safety policies.Responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle for your team to include Recruitment, Training & Development, Absence management & Performance management.Recognise and celebrate success on a team and individual level.Collaborate with other departments including logistics and procurement to schedule deliveries and ensure seamless operations.Resolving supply chain issues or delays in conjunction with logistics & customer services.Working with Quality & Regulatory to ensure adherence to GMP/GDP standards and internal SOPs across all supply chain processes.Liaising and interacting with suppliers, customers, service providers as required.Please note although the above is a description of the requirements of the role, as stated in your contract of employment, you may be required to carry out other reasonable duties as the Company may require from time to time.Please note that all DCC Vital staff work within quality management systems and that all the above will apply to the product portfolio.DCC Vital is an Equal Opportunities Employer.Profile DescriptionExperience & profile:Minimum of 35 years experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or regulated industryExperience in people management with a willingness to support developing teams, is essential.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build internal/external relationships at all levels.Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Proactive and motivated approach, with a view to implement continuous improvement and best practice processes.Experience in Stock Management System Sage, Microsoft Office including Excel is preferable.Other InformationThis role is a full time, Permanent RoleAvailable to work beyond normal business hours as requiredFull clean driving licence recommended.SkillsAttention to detailTime ManagementInterpersonal SkillsBenefitsLife AssurancePaid HolidaysParkingPensionSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and StorageReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Fannin Ltd by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Warehouse Manager” roles.Kilcoole, County Wicklow, Ireland
