We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components
* Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
* Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently and safely
* Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Own tools (tool allowance available)
* CDL a plus but not required
* High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications a plus
