The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Supplier Excellence Engineer, you will collaborate with diverse teams worldwide to:
1. Drive implementation of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) across Solventum to achieve cost reductions.
2. Partner with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials and processes for cost savings without compromising quality.
3. Reduce and consolidate supplier base, managing change processes and validation.
4. Recommend and deploy dual/multi sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity.
5. Apply project and change management skills to drive continuous improvements and innovative strategies.
6. Implement lean methodologies and process optimizations for cost reduction.
Your Skills And Expertise
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
* 7-10 years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
Preferred qualifications:
* Master’s degree in related fields.
* Experience with procurement best practices, operational improvements, VAVE tools, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Location & Travel
* Eligible countries: Ireland, Germany, Poland.
* Hybrid work with travel to plant or office at least 3 days/week.
* Up to 30% travel (domestic & international).
* No relocation assistance provided.
* Legal work authorization required without sponsorship.
