Salary
Competitive salary, Equity and strong benefits (see below)
Location
Fully remote across the UK, Ireland, or US East Coast (with a few trips per year)
Impact
Take full ownership of all technical documentation, define the standards, shape the structure, and make the docs as good as the product itself.
Autonomy
No team to manage, no legacy mess, you'll be the person building the documentation function from the ground up.
Why This Role
You'll be joining a scaling Saa S business building developer-first products used by engineers, Dev Ops, and SRE teams worldwide.
Their product helps companies secure and manage software supply chains — and the docs are key to how customers understand and adopt it.
They've had a contractor owning documentation up to now.
This role replaces that with someone who'll build consistency, set standards, and help the docs scale as the product does.
It's a high-trust environment with the freedom to experiment and make things better without red tape.
What You'll be Doing
Own and manage the full documentation experience end to end.
Define standards, refine information architecture, and design publishing workflows.
Write and maintain product guides, tutorials, API docs, and release notes.
Partner with engineers and product teams to document new features as they ship.
Create multimedia content (screenshots, videos, walkthroughs) to improve learning.
Build and maintain a style guide for consistency across all technical content.
What They're Looking For
7+ years writing developer-focused documentation (Dev Ops tools, APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure software).
Deep experience with Markdown and Git-based workflows.
Experience with static site generators or documentation frameworks.
Solid understanding of how to structure and present technical content clearly.
Comfortable working closely with engineers and product managers.
Curious, adaptable, and strong attention to detail.
Bonus: Experience with Open API, REST/Graph QL doc generation, or CI/CD pipelines for docs.
The Culture
You'll be joining a remote-first team that genuinely trusts people to get things done.
There's no micromanagement — just smart, self-motivated people building something that matters.
They invest heavily in learning, development, and work-life balance, with flexibility baked in.
Competitive salary and equity
Health, dental, and vision cover
Generous annual leave and flexible working
Professional development budget for training and conferences
A sustainable pace, regular offsites, and plenty of autonomy
