Senior Client Service - Custody Client Services

One of our large clients has a fantastic opportunity within the Custody Client Service team.
The role is responsible for managing relationships with 650+ clients and investment managers. The department interacts regularly with internal teams to source information, enabling the team to provide prompt, high-quality responses to all client queries.
Based in Limerick, the successful candidate will maintain and develop internal and external client relationships. The role involves developing and mentoring team members to understand the products and services we support, ensuring a superior level of service to our extensive client base. The candidate will also lead a developing team while ensuring we exceed client expectations for all custody queries.

Responsibilities
1. Oversee a team of client service representatives responsible for daily client servicing.
2. Serve as the point of contact for clients.
3. Initiate proactive and frequent communication.
4. Lead and conduct service reviews.
5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key business partners, internal clients, and relevant third parties (e.g., trustees, external advisors, consultants).
6. Track service and delivery results against project plans and service level agreements (SLAs).
7. Ensure adherence to risk and control policies set by Northern Trust and regulatory bodies.
8. Monitor service delivery through client reviews, surveys, and feedback.
9. Escalate issues and opportunities appropriately to the Client Service Manager.
10. Promote high standards of integrity, accountability, and client service across GFS EMEA and globally.
11. Create an inclusive environment fostering trust, respect, and shared purpose.
12. Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular updates on progress.
13. Support partner development through coaching and training.
14. Complete daily tasks to ensure compliance with Northern Trust policies.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in Fund Services, preferably Custody.
* Previous leadership experience.
* Technical knowledge of the securities industry, products, and instruments.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence change and best practices.
* Effective communication skills at all levels with partners and clients.
* Ability to foster an inclusive team environment.
* Willingness to learn and share knowledge about client strategy, infrastructure, and products.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Proven ability to improve service delivery, efficiency, and productivity.
