The Kingsley Hotel is currently recruiting for an Entry Level IT Associate (Tier 1) to join their team. Although mainly based in The Kingsley Hotel you may be required to work on occasions in our sister hotel Fota Island Resort.
The role requires the candidate to work Monday to Friday but also be fully flexible to work any shift across 7 days including occasional cover for evenings and weekends.
A full driver's licence is desired. The role is most suited to a Tier 1 applicant.
Responsibilities
* Provide frontline remote and desk side support services to end users.
* Troubleshoot PC related problems either via phone, remote tools or desk side support.
* Build, configuring and troubleshoot Server, PC, Laptop applications and hardware components and will also have working knowledge of all Windows Operating Systems
* Facilitate a warranty repair with the relevant hardware vendor.
* Perform on-site installation of hardware and/or software.
* Maintenance of workstation spare parts break/fix, upgrades
* Complete incidents and requests within SLA in environment.
* Ensure tickets are updated on a daily basis.
* Support meeting room environment and IT setup as needed by clients.
* Support printers, scanners and other peripherals.
* Support mobile devices, such as iPads, iPhones and android phones.
* Support IPTV system and Chromecast.
* Sound system troubleshooting.
* Cisco network switches management configuring port settings sound fundamentals knowledge of networking and hardware concepts.
* Active Directory and Office 356 knowledge.
Requirements
* Windows PC troubleshooting experience
* CCNA / CompTIA Network + certification or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential, relevant experience will be taken into consideration.
* PMS / POS experience is desirable but not essential.
