Summary
A leading Irish main contractor is currently looking to appoint a Site Engineer for a large education project in Kildare. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a well-established contractor delivering high-profile projects across the education, healthcare, residential and commercial sectors.
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day engineering and coordination of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements.
Responsibilities
Setting out and surveying works onsite
Coordinating subcontractors and assisting with daily site operations
Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
Maintaining QA documentation and site records
Assisting with BCAR compliance and quality inspections
Monitoring progress against programme targets
Liaising with design teams, consultants and subcontractors
Managing technical queries and resolving onsite issues
Supporting health & safety procedures onsite
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
Previous experience working on construction projects with a main contractor preferred
Strong setting out and surveying experience
Knowledge of Irish building regulations and BCAR desirable
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficient with Total Station, GPS and engineering software
Motivated, proactive and keen to progress within a leading contractor
