Job Description
Industrial & Domestic Furniture t/a Glenn Wood Tullamore requires multiple CNC Operators for its locations at Axis Business Park, Clara Road, Tullamore, Co Offaly. The salary range starts from €36,605 (€18.05 per hour) to €64,000 (€31.56 per hour) based on a 39‑hour working week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates computerized machines that precisely cut and shape metal or plastic parts by loading materials and tools, running pre‑programmed instructions, and continuously monitoring the machine to ensure smooth operation.
Inspects finished parts with measuring tools to verify exact specifications.
Performs routine maintenance such as cleaning and tool changes, and troubleshoots operational issues while following strict safety protocols and maintaining production records.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, with technical or vocational training in CNC operations, machining, or manufacturing highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
Good knowledge of workplace safety regulations and machine‑specific safety protocols; ability to properly use personal protective equipment; understanding of lockout/tag‑out procedures.
Strong attention to detail and focus; reliability and punctuality; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
