CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent position, following completion of a 6-month probationary period (a 4-day working week may be considered).SALARY: €80,000 - €90,000, commensurate with experience.LOCATION: Hybrid: the position will be based in the SSGT offices, in the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin 8.

Stephen's Green Trust (SSGT) is an independent social justice grant-maker which has been working across the island of Ireland since 1992.
Our primary purpose is to make grants to groups to allow them to effect positive social change in areas which trustees deem to be critical.THE ROLE The Executive Director is a senior leadership role within a small, agile nonprofit with an all-Ireland remit, with overall responsibility for delivering the vision and mission of St Stephen's Green Trust (SSGT) in close collaboration with the Chairperson and Board of Trustees (Board).The role is dual-faceted – the Executive Director serves as both a strategic leader and a hands-on Programme Manager for the criminal justice and family matters sectors, guiding the organisation's operations, relationships, and strategic direction.Responsibilities include the development, recommendation to the Board, and implementation of strategy and policies; the development and implementation of grant-making programmes and procedures as well as the necessary governance, financial, personnel and administrative systems to effectively run the funded organisations, and the representation of SSGT to grantee and other community and statutory organisation, the media and others as appropriate.If you are a visionary leader who inspires teams and drives organisational change, with high integrity and emotional intelligence and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice principles, and can work in a collaborative, empathetic and results-oriented manner, we would love to hear from you.
