Are you great at building relationships? Are you pro‑active and curious with a passion for books?
As our new Regional Account Manager, you’ll work closely with bookshops and other retailers across the island of Ireland. You’ll use your communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence decisions, to see our books featured with impact.

The team
Internally, you’ll be a part of an Irish sales team of 5 and you’ll confidently build relationships with colleagues in PRH Ireland and across our teams in our UK publishing houses. You’ll regularly share market insights and use social media as a tool to proactively source new retailers within your market, and as an opportunity to establish and enhance relationships with current and emerging book retailers.

* Understand each account in detail and share your expertise across the team.
* Proactively liaise between accounts and PRH to maximise sales opportunities.

* Use levers such as discount, spend, social‑media assets etc effectively to drive revenue.
* Ongoing personal goals, measuring their success, having permission to fail and to learn from that.
* Awareness and understanding of the year‑on‑year invoiced sales of the accounts. Ongoing conversations with your accounts to celebrate success and understand those results.
What you’ll bring
* Experience in a similar sales or business development role.
* Comfortable in brokering relationships with booksellers, flexing your style to the requirement of the retailer and business. Not afraid to hold difficult conversations.
* You’ll often work autonomously, so being a self‑starter and able to use your own initiative are key to your success within this role.
