Come work with us We are offering an exciting permanent position as a Processing Plant Supervisor at the Mowi Ireland Fish Processing Plant in Rinmore, Fanad, Co. Donegal.The successful candidate will be part of the team and report directly to the Processing Plant Manager and will have the opportunity to progress within our company.The role will be permanent, full time & pensionable, and the preferred candidate will work a 39hr week, in any five days out of seven. Mowi Ireland will provide comprehensive internal and external training.The main functions of this role will include:Ø Oversee the efficient running of the fish processing facility, from fish intake to dispatch.Ø Liaise with various departments to ensure stock supply coordination, manpower requirements, production and logistics targets.Ø Manage costs in relation to budget allocationØ Assist in the budgeting process.Ø Manage production schedules and staff.Ø Report daily, weekly and monthly stock information.Ø Monitor key performance indicators.Ø Ensure that appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP's) are developed and maintained for the fish processing operations.Ø Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanlinessØ Foster a well-trained, safe and motivated staff.Ø Monitor and control staff time, conduct, attendance & productivity.Applicants should be highly motivated, show initiative and independence with good communication skills to work well within a team environment.In addition to the above criteria, successful candidates should possess:Ø A degree in Food Science, Marine Biology, Aquaculture, or Food Business Administration is preferred.Ø Minimum of five years' experience in food production line management,fish processing, or seafood retail.Ø Excellent knowledge andunderstanding of HACCP and food hygiene management.Ø Quality and preferably integrated management systems experience (Quality, HES and Environmental).Ø Knowledge and understanding of the BRC standard for Food Safety.Ø Knowledge of quality control, food processing equipment, and production optimisation.Ø Ability to manage staff, production schedules, and operational logistics.Ø Excellent organisational, communication & and reporting skillsØ Budgeting & Financial acumen.Ø IT Literate.What does Mowi offer?A competitive salary.Bonus scheme.20 days annual leave per annum, increasing with length of service.11 public holidays.Generous pension scheme.Cycle to work scheme.Healthy Lifestyle contribution to support an active lifestyle.Employee discounts at participating retailers.Annual medical.Training & Development opportunities.Potential candidates are invited to apply to the company 20thMarch 2026 via our online portal their interest and suitability with their full CV.
