We provide end-to-end automation andintegration solutions to the medical device industry.The RoleAs a Senior Electrical Build Technician, you will report directly to the Operations Manager. You will playa key role in the electrical panel build and field wiring of automated equipment. This is a senior hands-onrole involving design input, build, installation, and commissioning of bespoke automation equipment.In addition to technical responsibilities, you will supervise and mentor team members, support thetraining of new hires, and contribute to the continuous improvement of build standards. You will workclosely with electrical design engineers, project leads, and other build technicians to ensure projects aredelivered on time, to the highest quality, and in compliance with safety standards.Main Role Responsibilities• Lead by example in the completion of panel build assembly, panel wiring, and field wiringsystems.• Read and interpret complex electrical/pneumatic drawings and schematics and guide others intheir understanding.• Supervise, train, and mentor technicians and apprentices, ensuring consistent application of buildstandards and safe work practices. Ensure new hires are onboarded and trained to a highstandard.• Oversee and ensure the build quality of all electrical elements of each project.• Support the completion of key project milestones including power-up, set-up tasks, I/O checks,safety resetting, safety checks, and quality verifications.• Test, troubleshoot, debug, and validate equipment performance, ensuring compliance withapplicable standards and technical specifications.• Inspect drawings for clarity, provide feedback to electrical design engineers, and proposeimprovements where necessary.• Monitor workload within the team, ensuring assigned tasks are completed to agreed timelines andquality targets.• Provide accurate estimates for duration and effort required on planned builds.• Contribute to and uphold high standards of cleanliness, order, and housekeeping in the workshop.• Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement and proactively identify opportunities toenhance build processes and efficiency.Qualifications & Experience• Electrical trade qualification or Electrical Apprentice (Phase 4 or higher) is preferred.• 4+ years' experience in a similar role within an automation, machine build, or electricalenvironment.• Experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity is a distinct advantage.Key Skills & Attributesmmt-• Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-qualityworkmanship.• Ability to lead, train, and mentor others while maintaining strong team collaboration.• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying electrical schematics.• Skilled in troubleshooting, problem solving, and fault-finding in complex systems.• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively to meetproject deadlines.• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).• Proficient in using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).• Adaptable, flexible, and motivated to work in a dynamic, results-oriented team environment
