We are looking for an Lead Backend & Cloud Engineer (AWS + Python) for an 8-12 Months rolling Day Rate Contract on a remote basis in Ireland.
Purpose of the role: Deloitte is working with a global pharmaceutical client to design and implement an AI-driven solution that automates the generation of clinical trial contracts.
The project leverages advanced AWS cloud capabilities and robust Python-based backend services to produce first-draft contracts by intelligently selecting relevant data from a dynamic admin portal and referencing historical negotiated agreements.
What you'll do: The Tech Lead will be the primary technical point of contact, working closely with the Project Manager (PM), Product Owner (PO), and architect.
Lead a small team of developers by creating and assigning tasks, estimating timelines, and managing any challenges.
Leveraging strong AWS cloud expertise to select and implement the appropriate AWS components tailored to various scenarios.
Applying solid Python programming skills to develop and maintain backend services.
Managing version control using Git and overseeing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Maintain frequent communication with the wider development team and business stakeholders.
Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning and task prioritisation.
Translate complex business problems into clear, simple language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Oversee the architecture and components of the system, particularly those built on AWS.
Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across teams.
The skills you'll need: Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including a deep understanding of various AWS components and their appropriate application.
