Job DescriptionJob Title: Sales/Business Development ExecutiveDepartment: Business DevelopmentReports to: Business Development ManagerLocation: West of IrelandSUMMARYReporting to the Business Development Manager the Sales/ Business Development Executive is responsible for ensuring the achievement of the business plan for specific allocated customers within agreed budgets, in order to deliver enhanced business performance.This is a remote role based in the West of Ireland, with 60-70% of your time spent on the road meeting clients.This is predominantly a new business sales role, with some account management.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESImplement the business plan for the appropriate territory, linked to corporate sales strategies and convert this into profitable business performanceConvert the strategic and tactical business plans for the segment into a practical implementation plan that will provide profitable business performance for the nominated accountsUtilise all sources of customer information, especially Customer Relationship Management (CRM), in order to effectively sell the value and service proposition to the customer baseProvide account management for the nominated accounts, which will include the implementation of the development planIdentify non-segment accounts with the growth potential to become major (segment) accounts and provide colleagues in the branch network with the support to ensure that this happensReviewing customer and Interested Parties requirements, to ensure that they are metLiaising with customers and suppliersHaving a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the Integrated Management System contributes to theseResponding to and dealing with customer communication and interested Parties by email and telephoneMotivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceededQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCEA minimum of a degree in a related topic2 years Working in a fast-paced Manufacturing / Service industryExperience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is essentialBENEFITS INCLUDEStrong salary based on experience10% performance related Bonus based on overall company performanceCar - can be car type commercial or passenger car - BIK appliesEmployees can join the company pension on completion of the probationary periodLife cover & critical illness cover also providedHoliday entitlements: 22 days per annum - will increase to 27 days based on years of service.
